Hospitals are rapidly adopting at-home care, fueled by the pandemic's success with remote medicine and the promise of reduced costs. Government backing for telehealth and in-home care is growing, offering patients more convenient healthcare options. Challenges include ensuring access for rural hospitals, establishing fair reimbursement rates, and addressing some doctors' concerns about thoroughness in remote examinations.

Jiang Li, CEO of Vivalink, sees this as a global trend.  Li highlights the increasing comfort patients have with remote monitoring technology, allowing healthcare providers to effectively care for them from afar.

Despite the hurdles, the future of healthcare seems to be moving towards a more prominent role for at-home care.
